"We had a wonderful three nights in the mountain facing rooms. Added bonus of being able to watch the sun rise from the room. Friendly staff provided an excellent meal on the first evening. Breakfast choices were many and varied; we certainly set off each day well filled. The village itself was great for wandering around and the castle of course was the highlight. Slightly scared at first at the narrow entrance into the village in our hire car, but it's actually OK. Plenty of room. Parking...

Sitting rooms, the chapel, a pool table room, and the outside pool area is from a fairytale. It’s like going back in time. We felt like royalty. 100% recommended."

"Very large, clean room. Wonderful balcony overlooking a river and ruined medieval fortress. Large bathroom. Difficult on-street parking on a steep road (drag your bags into the hotel). No refrigerator or microwave, but very comfortable and well air-conditioned. Very friend staff. Affordably priced. In a cute little town and well-located. Would happily do it again."
