"Check-in was easy. Our cabin was clean and quite cozy. Everyone was friendly and the coffee cabana on the property had great coffee, options for breakfast, or an evening desert. "A really special place, right across from the ocean waves. The hotel is a beautifully restored 17th c house at the front and the hotel rooms along the back. The rooms are simple but well-furnished. The grounds include many green spaces and a lovely salt water infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. I particularly enjoyed the common rooms decorated with special ceramics and lovely comfortable furniture. A great place to read, work or relax, especially at cocktail hour when the self-serve bar cart means you can sit on the terrace with a glass and enjoy the sound of the waves. The owner is on site and is gracious and helpful with advice and recommendations. Breakfast includes freshly prepared eggs and bacon--crispy like in the USA. Just note that although it is walkable along the road to town, the roads are narrow, and accommodating pedestrians is not the major objective."
