The kitchen facilities are opened till 9pm. Though there is floor heating, the rooms are very cold in early October."

Staff were very helpful guiding me and making provision for a late arrival due to train delays. Breakfast was simple but tasty. If you are there during the week they have a massive model railway you can visit - unfortunately I was there at the weekend, but it's a good reason for me to go back!"

It's quite far from Zermatt but the village itself is worth exploring."
