"Location is convenient and staff are friendly / helpful. The negatives are lack of air conditioning during the summer. Tough during the heatwave. Also, we had to wait 2.5 hours for check in when we arrived as they weren’t able to finish cleaning until almost 7 pm."

"Check to make aure that the room you’re booking has air conditioning or not, especially in the summers. Not all rooms have air conditioning and it’s an extra charge to get an air conditioned room. There is no staff in the hotel at night. And the hotel doors are locked at 10pm. So if you need something, yoobasically on your own. Otherwise for a short stay this was the only hotel close to where i wanted to be and the stay was ok"

"It was great room and view very convenient to both Interlaken OST and West and shopping. We enjoyed the space and the lounge area. Staff was efficient. The view of the mountains was the best. The paragliders were right in front of the hotel. Of course there is no AC so it was very hot inspite of the fan."

However, the separate apartment buildings where our room was located felt much smaller and did not meet the standards I would expect from a four-star property. "I would stay at the Gasthof Schoenegg B&B again in a heartbeat. For a true Swiss Chalet like experience this is it. The view from our corner room was something out of a dream. We slept with the windows open so we woke up to mountain views on each side every morning. The attention to detail for the breakfast is incredible.
