"Right in the heart of the historical city of Matera you will find Cavoso Hotel. We stayed in one of the cave rooms which was much more airy and larger than I expected. The room had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The hotel gives you a choice of breakfast in your room or the dining area. We tried both and enjoyed the variety. "We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the train station. But it was a very pleasant surprise! Large yet very clean. Exceptional staff at front desk. Great restaurant with wonderful service. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff there were awesome as well. Our room was large and very comfortable, as was the bed. We had the pool (which is massive) all to ourselves for over an hour. The grounds surrounding the hotel are beutiful. Parking is easy and very affordable. Great stay, wish...
