"Turned up to be told the manager was out and wouldn’t be back for half an hour at least, so we couldn’t check in.
So had to sit and wait (we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding).
Manager treated us as though we were some sort of nuisance wanting to check in. So after nearly 45 min she arrived and asked for a £200 deposit… this wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing.
The rooms were dirty (walls, floors and bedding), the tiled floors with missing grout in our bathroom were...

"The Ferryboat Inn is an old establishment that I last visited ten years ago. It has been sympathetically refurbished keep a lot of the original features but adding a new bar in place of the old conservatory. I was very impressed with all the changes."

"Very pleasant room in pub /hotel in centre of town with fast wifi and all amenities. Cooked breakfast also included -although quite a short time for breakfast - between 8.30 and 10 on a Saturday. But breakfast was fine."
