"The property was beautiful and all of the reception staff was amazing. They were the best part!! I really wanted to love this place because it was so beautiful, but too much went wrong. Beware of booking an economy room as that was the excuse for anything wrong. Our first room, 105, had issues. The bathroom was not cleaned as there was a bunch of hair in the sink as well as very moldy caulk and wrappers/debris in the shower. Housekeeping came to clean it up but afterwards the cleaner continually gave us nasty looks every time she saw us. She even walked into our room at 8:30 in the morning without knocking and we had the do not disturb on. On the balcony, the kitchen vent was there and it was loud with an overwhelming food orders. We were moved the next day. Second room was much better on the balcony, but the shower spit water all over the bathroom. The safe would not open and after a day out WITH DO NOT disturb on, there was an opened bag of M&Ms on the shelf. We decided we didn't want to move again so we made good with what we had. The restaurant messed up my dinner one night (avocado salad with chicken.. But no chicken but I just settled, however the salad was salted heavily.. No way to eat that) and the kitchen was closed so I was stuck dipping into my husband's plate and then we had to Uber to the market so I would not be hungry all night. No apology at all. The waiter said.. chicken is extra. Ok, so what I ordered it and it was an add on option."

"I booked what appeared to be a premium riverside cabin to spend quality time with my 10-year-old daughter. Instead, we experienced the worst hotel stay of my life. We arrived on May 15, 2026, at 4:35 pm to a completely empty property with locked doors and no staff. None of the “online check-in only” procedures were clearly communicated beforehand. After a long travel day, we spent nearly an hour outside in the heat calling and messaging multiple numbers with no response. Even the “sister property” nearby had no staff available. At 5:22 pm, someone finally responded and provided a lock code. Unfortunately, the room was nothing like the premium river-view cabin advertised online. What we received was a small concrete room that looked more like a storage unit. My daughter immediately noticed the difference and was visibly disappointed. I documented everything with photos and videos. After multiple calls, Mrs. Alejandra politely acknowledged the issue but insisted the system showed the room as correct. Nearly 30 minutes later, an alternative room was offered at another property, but by then the experience had already ruined our trip. We requested and received a full refund. Because of a wedding influx, finding another hotel last minute was extremely stressful. While we eventually found accommodations elsewhere, the entire ordeal caused unnecessary stress and completely disrupted our vacation.
