"My birthday trip to danville was ruined. The front desk lady was sooo rude and not accommodating. I reserved the room for 5/30-6/2. I wasn't able to check inon the 30th because i got off work largest than i thought. So i tried to check in on the 31st ( my birthday) and the front dest lady denied me because i didn't come on the 30th. I tried to explain my job situation and telling her it was my birthday. She didn't care and it showed. She told me i would have to re book with her, even tho my card was already charged for 5/30-6/2. Wow. She was very unprofessional and not someone who should work in hospitality. Then she told me to call and speak to a manger on 6/2. Smh. Luckily i spoke with Mark on 6/2. And he resolved the issues 🙄. "So overall our stay was good. The front desk staff that checked us in and the one that we gave the key to as we were leaving were both really nice and helpful. I loved that we could check in anytime we wanted to. However, the room was pretty expensive for just one bed one night and the picture showed a hot tub but our room did not have one. Also, there was a plastic mouth piece that comes on the end of a black and mild cigar in our bed. I did not go complain to the front desk because I was in my pjs and in the bed when I saw it. I assume it probably fell out of a housekeepers pocket. Also, the pool outside was green, it wasn’t warm enough to swim yet but I thought most would be open and cleaned up by now"
"I wasn’t informed that renovations were being conducted on the property. It was very disconcerting, trying to get into the property because the signs weren’t clearly marked. Also, they were went and clean my room like I wanted to clean and brought clean linens so no I wasn’t happy."
