"The gentleman on reception who checked us in was really lovely and very welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. Pillows were a bit too soft for our personal tastes and rooms could do with a kettle but otherwise very happy with our stay. Breakfast was nice also. Staff definitely stood out for us ..."

"Very clean, tidy and well presented hotel. On site parking was good value and they let me leave my car there ahead of check in too. Comfortable room and the breakfast was decent quality and good value. Would consider staying here again."

"Check in was quick & easy - I had booked a bell tent, but due to poor weather I was given a free upgrade to a shepherds hut - thank you very much. I had actually dropped my stuff of inside the tent, which was clean, airy and the bed looked well comfy. Very pet friendly & great views across the valley. ..."
