"Lodge was nice and clean albeit small. Area was nice with lovely walks nearby. Lots to do on site, gym, swimming, arcade, soft play, restaurants, shop etc. Pool changing area needs a good clean and shop is expensive. Other than that place is nice, right in the middle of the New Forest,"

"Cheap and cheerful (staff). Room was clean, basic, bed was comfy. Serves it's purpose but at £50 for the night I've stayed in far worse. Would consider again. Limited food from a Service Station but to save a 3 hour drive in the morning it helped massively. "

"Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Don't be put off by it's roadside position. The rooms are located at the rear of the hotel, with stunning views overlooking the river and Abbey. Our room had french doors out on to the riverside. Super friendly and courteous staff. Look forward to staying again"

"Housekeeping was outstanding. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.The food was excellent and the range of beverages extensive. Prices were reasonable. The only improvement could be the toilet in my room. The pointless cabinet under the sink needs removing so that taller guests can actually sit comfortably and the flush was poor. Otherwise a lovely stay and I would recommend and go again for sure. "
