Ideal location at a good price.

We stayed in the annex room 17,still very close to the cathedral and very peaceful except for some block slamming doors and running up and down stairs at three in the morning.Parking can be a pain,use a sat-nav,make sure you speak to the staff they are very helpful on all aspects of staying in Amiens.The city is very nice,loads of good restaurants,bars and shops.Also if you have transport visit Gerberoy about an hour away,absolutely beautiful.A picture postcard village.

Great location in town

The nearby underground car park is closed on Sunday - Use the Cathedral car park which is free on Sunday until 1:30pm Monday! Check in staff speak fluent English. Can make good suggestions for eating out and things to see. Recommend breakfast for 11 euros, which is considerably better than the 7.50 euro breakfast offered in local cafes. In February, Amiens is a quiet place! Bars and restaurants are not busy or open late. The current exchange rate makes for an expensive experience. There are assorted shopping opportunities in town. You can walk or hire a bicycle for an excursion into the Hortillonages. In summer you can have a boat trip. Recommended excursions: the battlefields and the underground city at Naours.

Ask for main site not annex.

Could get 5 stars if had another member of staff but that costs money ie manager carried cases to annex 100 yards up the street for us ie may have been better if room in main site where we went for breakfast. Also not great if light sleeper as heavy doors made noise at night, we heard someone 2 nights running at 2.30am! My wife asked for shower mat but none and as we were there for 4 nights we were never left enough towels, toilet roll, etc and had to keep on asking. Breakfast was good but I wasn't told as noone on reception when we left that I had only paid for room only(now sorted with a phone call) & left city tax money with waitress who was initially not happy as serving in breakfast area upstairs. But we liked the hotel as with a bit more effort could get 4+ stars, may be better if staying in main site if back again as beside cathedral with no traffic noise, beside nice restaurants & main shops very close.

Excelente atencion de Thibaud (recepcion) quien se destaco por su amabilidad. Pesima relacion precio-calidad. Nos dieron una habitacion (atico) tres pisos por escalera sin previo aviso.

Verrassend hotel in centrum Amiens

Dit is een verrassend leuk en origineel hotel op een ideale locatie, midden in het centrum van Amiens en pal naast de kathedraal. Talloze restaurantjes en terrasjes liggen binnen handbereik. Onze kamer was veel mooier - en groter - dan de foto's op de website deden vermoeden; wij hadden de goedkoopste kamer in het hotel...met balkon, met zicht op de kathedraal en charmante binnenplaats. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom.. een absolute aanrader !
