So pleased we booked this hotel, despite reading the reviews about the building work outside which is nearly finishing From the receptionist to the staff in the breakfast room all were so warm and welcoming . Probably the best continental style breakfast in an hotel we’ve had Our group had rooms on the second, third and fifth rooms. All newly refurbished , comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms and toiletries Easy to walk to main places of interest and good resturants Excellent value Thank you

Convenient, walkable to main attractions. Bed was very comfy. Toiletries provided. Bath robe provided. Balcony with nice views. Clean Needed to ring the doorbell to be let into the hotel , occasions when there was no one on the desk so had to wait 10 minutes to enter But overall very happy with the hotel and would stay again

We liked the hotel, very rustic, nice canal view. Had a small balcony so you could sit out. There was construction going on the canal and area which was dirty and noisy but that didn't take away from the stay and it was outside of the hotel purview. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again

Super convenient hotel - walk to the main city area is aboht 20 minutes. Water provided in the room and free breakfast that was great! Our room (209) was pretty tucked away so it was super quiet and ideal. The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave our key with the front desk every time we left and when we got back they never checked ID.
