We had the family room (which is adjacent to the hotel) and it was perfect for our needs. Spacious, quiet and hosted the fact that the kids had the upper floor to themselves was great. Super fiendly staff and the location (and the views from the fourth floor) was amazing. Would recommend for a family vacation with older kids (the stairs are steep and narrow). Bike shop next door so it doesn’t get any easier to tour the city.

Great centrally located apartments attached to the main hotel, ours had a beautiful view of the Amstel - really polite and helpful reception staff on hand in the main hotel building. Easy transport links on the trams and trains and the hotel has a convenient luggage storage if you need it. *IMPORANT* Only key consideration for other guests considering the apartments in particular is the access... 3 flights of steep and narrow stairs, so not suitable for everyone and the hallway/landing was tired and in need of a refresh.

It was great from check in to departure, only thing I would say is if you’re staying in the apartments the stairs are very steep so could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Brilliant apartment for a city break holiday. We stayed in the 4 bed two level studio apartment. It was located up 4 flights of steep windy Dutch stairs but you swiftly got the hang of how to navigate them. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was only the bathroom mirror which sometimes made getting ready a challenge. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Good location for transport and walkable to shopping, trips and sights. Only thing dropping the rating was we were at the front of the building and it was noisy overnight. We were woken every night 2-3 times by noise from the streets. Otherwise great location and helpful staff.

Poor apartment.

The apartment we stayed in was old, tired and out dated. With terrible lighting and layout, shower was rubbish and toilet cubicle was tiny with no ventilation so had a horrible smell. However the location was amazing, staff and hotel lovely, shame the apartment was sub standard.

Great stay at Eden apartments from Vancouver Canad

We found the studio apartment very adequate for our needs. It was large enough to be able to sit comfortably at the table and the kitchen has cook top and microwave which we appreciated. I found it a little dark with black curtains and shear curtains and dark black and red carpet but this didn’t impact our enjoyment. The location was ideal for walking to everything.

The apartment space was well laid out and the view was amazing as it was on the third floor. There was a separate bedroom, the toilet and a small sink were close to the front door away from the main living space. The bathroom was not in the bedroom, but off the main living area. Plenty of towels were provided. We were informed that there would be no housekeeping service unless we requested something which was fine for us. Now to the not so good, the apartment was on the third floor, with no lift, the three flights of stairs became more narrow with turns at the bottom making it tricky to carry more than a single bag. There were bannister rails. The common areas are in need of a degree of maintenance - deep cleaning, decorating etc. inside the apartment there was no soap in the toilet which was a surprise as it was provided in the shower room. There were no hooks or towels rails in the toilet. In the shower room there was a single towel rail but some hooks would be useful to hang dry clothes or a second wet towel. In the kitchen area there was dish soap, but no plug for the sink, nor any cloths of any kind. We did not try the microwave or extractor fan or the hob. If you like anything other than expression coffee from the supplied machine, the cups are tiny. We borrowed some bigger ones from the bar in the main building. The beds were comfy and the linen clean. Despite the issues we had a great stay and the location was excellent,

We stayed in the apartment. It is a separate entrance with stairs going up. It was super easy access from the street. The apartment was very spacious for a big city and had everything we needed. The location is very close to shopping, restaurants, etc but just enough away that it’s quiet at night. I highly recommend it!!

The apartment is in a separate building from the main hotel. It is not as modern looking and looks a bit tired in places. The carpets look old. Otherwise, everything was good. The apartment was large, comfortable and in a great location. It had a beautiful view of the Amstel and we enjoyed our stay there.

Nice apartment!

Nice apartment, with a great view. Really loved the great big windows, but couldn’t work out how to turn down the radiator. The kitchen was well appointed but could have done with an extra pan that worked on the induction hob. Great bed, nice bathroom, could have done with a bit of extra power in the shower. Easy to find, close by two metro lines, and a short walk round the corner to the Rembrandtsplein. Attached to a get hotel, with a really nice bar. Glad I found the place will likely return.

Great location and does the job.

On the whole a great location and comfortable for the family. There is no getting away from the stairs some reviews have referenced, it’s part of the history of Amsterdam. The only bug bear related to a charge the hotel tried to spring on us billed as a change in taxes which was not communicated at check in or via mail once the changes were known. Thanks to the team at the front desk who removed the charges. In all, a pleasant stay. Thank you!

The accommodation is in an excellent location - it has everything you need. Shopping, cafés, bars, restaurants, clubs, coffee shops, tram station, etc. Although the accommodation is in a very central and busy location, it is on the quiet side of the block with a view of the Amstel. The bathroom is a bit small for 3 people - it would almost be too small for 4 people. The entrance area of the appartment is also a bit narrow but otherwise it is a very nice and cool arranged appartment and perfect for 3 people!

Location was nice, unit was quirky but there was no elevator and very tight stairs, which was never mentioned in the write up of the hotel. A person with mobility issues would have problems getting up the stairs. Check in staff were pretty rude, won't be going back.

The apartment is good. But there is no lift option. The accommodation is stated as family friendly. But it’s quite difficult to stay with babies. The building main door is always unlocked. The stairs are too steep and does not fit for a stroller. The staff is friendly and the stroller always stays in the hotel lobby. It is a bit dangerous to hold the babies and take steps.
