Amazing hotel and great staff! Very clean and quiet room. Off the beaten path, but that’s what we needed, quiet area with no crowds at night. Good breakfast and they have some goods to sell in the lobby, very convenient when everything is closed already. For my American fellas, no AC is normal in Netherlands, it is never too hot comparing to US and they are green.

Unfortunately our stay wasn’t the greatest. We left to go explore the city from 8am and requested to get the room cleaned in person. We came back in the afternoon around 3pm and it still hadn’t been done. The women/cleaner on our floor was still finishing off the rooms. We left to give it another hour and it still hadn’t been done. I was curious so I asked her if she was doing our room as she was directly across and she proceeded to tell me she didn’t know and that she doesn’t actually work there. I rang reception they said they were a bit behind time and would be done by 6pm. We went out for dinner and, came back and it still hadn’t been done. I rang reception again, they said they would send someone up. At this point all we requested was fresh towels instead of fresh linen and other amenities for the room as we were low. No one came up. So I went down to reception and had to ask in person. House keeping was still onsite and reception said they would send them to the room right now. When I met house keeping at the door they just looked at me and were very unprofessional. One was on the phone. They weren’t sure what to do so I had to direct them. Some of the staff throughout our stay were lovely and helpful however this situation put me off and I will not be booking to stay here again.

Excellent staff; always a smile, “good morning” etc. great location for getting around and being close to the arena as well as Amstel station. Would definitely return. Rooftop bar had a good selection of drinks & food and lovely in the sun!

I would stay here over and over, this was our second trip to Amsterdam and we tried 2 hotels during our first trip but nothing beats Casa. It really feels like a home away from home. The area it’s in is pretty quiet but it safe and close to the metro allowing you to get to Centraal easily. There’s a cafe in the lobby as well as a small convenience store with self check out.
