The hotel is in a prime location very close to the city centre and pubic transport including the central station. My room was close to the reception desk and faced the main road so it was noisy especially at night. I stayed in a single room which was small however, was ideal as I was staying alone. The bathroom was very clean, but the shower tray did easily flood if you were in the shower too long. I would stay again if I was visiting Amsterdam due to the location of the hotel and compared to other hotels in the area it is cheaper.

Yes room was good, front staff were helpful. The cleaners were very noisey with the rubbish bags on the second floor throughout the day. Yes not best time to try sleep during the day, but when your out to 4 or 5am appreciate a little peace for 8 til 11am at least. But other than that a good place to stay for a couple of nights :)

Great 1 night stay

We really enjoyed staying here. The person at reception for check in was so helpful (he moved us to a different room with less stairs - as we had a very heavy suitcase) The room was tiny, but that's to be expected for the hotel location. It was so clean, bed was comfortable, shower was amazing. the coffee machine in reception was a lovely addition.

Old hotel with small room but well located

Lady at the front desk was able to check us in early which was appreciated after a long overnight flight. Location was good for downtown Amsterdam but street noise didn’t die down until about 2 or 3 AM. Lots of narrow stairs to rooms. Room was very small for two people even though we had a double bed. Paying for location here, room was a place to sleep.
