Great location - very convenient to visit city centre and especially museums. Breakfast was good and room was comfortable. It was a bit noisy a night as the room was facing busy street but manageable.

Location was super convenient with what I planned to do, felt super safe with the outside doors only opening with your room key! I also appreciated being able to borrow an umbrella and check in early. Very minor downsides were that there were stairs leading to my room on the 2nd floor (which wasn’t great with my luggage) and there were some flying bugs/I think likely mosquitoes or something in my room

We loved our stay at Huygens Place. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a very nice patio area that was great for relaxing between adventures. The location is close to Vondel Park and the Leidseplein. The beds were good. The pillows were a bit fat for me but that is a minor thing. The AC worked well and allowed us to keep the room comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. We were traveling as 2 couples and all agreed we would choose to stay again.

Excellent location, lovely helpful staff, great dining spot around the corner (umami) and easy to walk to art galleries or catch tram 17 to Centraal station. Aircon was great as I had a cosy room at the top in the roof. Happy with the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Huygens place. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the room was clean, good AC (a relief as these were hot days). Well located, courtyard is great. Not an issue for us, but there are lots of sub-levels and stairs.

I stayed for a night. The single room worked pretty well. I was on a hopover to another city. The hotel is really close to public tram, easy to get to from Amsterdam Centraal, and also very easy to move to the museums. It is a bit quirky inside but it is charming, the job of having a bathroom and a proper bed, towels and a ultra mini fridge and coffee station helped worked wonders after a long travel.
