Excellent location for Amsterdam. A little out of the centre but directly opposite the tram stop so in Amsterdam quickly. Room clean. Staff friendly. Well decorated and stocked bar. Only fault I would say which stopped me going 5-star was the price of breakfast but can easily eat out.

The hotel is a 2 min walk to the metro station and a 15 min ride to Amsterdam Centraal. It's in a quiet neighbourhood (no shops, restaurants in the vicinity). It's a nice place to stay if you don't mind the commute. Rooms are clean, nice and well-equipped. Restaurant has some yummy food. My complaint is that the elevators are really loud. I couldn't hear the metro but can hear the elevators going up and down. It's not for people who need silence to sleep.
