"Lovely property. It’s not just a boxy room but former small residences from 1926 so our had a mini kitchenette and nice bath and makeup area. They have a bar/restaurant and separate cafe. The food was good quality and the prices were ok. The bar/restaurant is a great smaller 1920s style space that’s great for relaxing. The staff was very courteous and helpful. It’s ala very convenient to George Washington university, a food hall, Whole Foods and a number of restaurants. Parking on the weekend wasn’t too bad as you could valet or park in a nearby self park garage. "

"When we arrived the staff was nice but our room did not have body wash, lotion, Kleenex or coffee pods. The staff brought up these things. The other bigger problem was the room was on the second floor above the Cuban restaurant and bar. It was very loud until 12:30 am both nights. We mentioned it both nights. We asked about a higher room but were told that there were no other rooms. I would not stay there again due to the loud noise of the restaurant/bar. We needed to go to bed and get up early so this was BIG disappointment. It was not clear when booking. "

"The staff was phenomenal; especially Estella at the front desk and Michael the concierge. Everyone smiled and acknowledged you when you walked by and were very helpful. A nice little touch was macaroons in our room on check-in. There’s a lovely café for coffee, pastries and sandwiches in addition to two restaurants on site. The rooms were nice and a good size however they could use a little updating with the carpet and the bathroom grout in the shower. Wonderful location, easy to take public transportation I would stay here again. "

"Excellent location and unique room. Beds surprisingly comfortable. If you are looking for a cheap place in a great location to explore the whole city that’s close to morning coffee, the metro, and a convenient store for all of your needs I recommend this place. Felt safe the whole stay! "

"Hotel is very clean & pretty. Biggest issue was that it was so noisy. There is a club next door and a rooftop bar which both had music blasting late into the night. Did not get to sleep before 3:00 am both nights"
