"This place needs to be taken off of Hotels.com. This is NOT a place for families passing through... not even for a quick sleep. I called ahead to let them know we would have a late check in. I had to call at least 6 times to get someone to answer and the voicemail isn't set up. When we arrived, there were groups of people just hanging out outside, as if these people lived there. Lobby was closed and I had to ring the doorbell a million times. When the girl working night shift finally came to the call window, she looked intoxicated and my husband said she was one of the people that were outside hanging out. She gave us our key... went to the room and the room was FULL of sleeping people. I immediately went back, told her absolutely not, we are not staying here and even said "girl, this is absolutely ridiculous". DO NOT STAY HERE. This is a roach motel turned into a roach apartment complex. Read the reviews and believe them. Also, don't stay in Ocala altogether, unless you want bedbugs and roaches to come home with you. We arrived just after midnight and eventually had to go to Orlando because following this issue, we went somewhere else and had an even worse experience. Hints as to why I said roaches and bed bugs."

""To start" it did NOT state anywhere that you could not pay in cash for the room,,, Understanding the deposit had to be on a card,,, I had reserved two rooms to "Pay Later" and planned on paying in cash.. But arriving was told by staff i Could Not pay that way so i couldn't get the rooms which i became a bit upset after driving almost 20 hours and I just wanted to rest... Me and my daughter in law/Staff Ashley Figured out something to get the rooms.. Read Everything or call Hotel to Verify certain things before you Reserve a room... That Shower head was not properly working but was functioning enough to shower... Not enough ventilation in bathroom only other thing was moisture in room Had to keep air conditioning on so floor didn't get slippery... Pool hours are good and Breakfast was decent everyone was polite... Overall the stay was goooood"

"Excellent place to stay especially for the price point. It is very clean and quiet. Complementary breakfast was average. Convenient location to interstate. We could only get lukewarm water for our shower. Would stay again if only going to be there for an overnight stay."

"For me, the hotel serves two purposes: rest and maintenance. My only expectations are a clean room and a hot shower. When you book a room for six people, you expect everyone to be accommodated. Our room was stopped with four towels, and when I went to the front desk to request more, I was rudely told that the policy was each room gets four towels. We tried to explain that we had six guests and needed additional towels, but were told no extra towels will be given. Thankfully, we were family and could share towels, but this is unacceptable. In my opinion the rest of the day was fine, unfortunately days later this towel incident still sticks in my mind. our families needs simply we’re not met."
