"The room smell was very musty—like an antique shop—and you can't open the window to air it out. It wasn't as well maintained and trendy as some of the photos make it out to be. Wifi wasn't working well for me, and I had to reach out to staff a few times before it finally got fixed. Sometimes I'd call the reception and no one would pick up. The bed and washroom were comfortable to use. The breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of variety."

"Staff were very helpful. Cleanliness was okay, no complaints. Location is good, close to consulate. TV was not working. Coffee/tea bags were there but no kettle. Requested and got kettle but power tripped when using it, so did not use it. Overall okay stay but calling out things that can be better."

However, the room was quite small, and the parking area was located far from the building, which made it a bit inconvenient. "The hotel seems recently renovated and allowed us to sit in the lobby with the air conditioning even though our arrival was hours before the check-in time. There is an elevator as well and the location is very convenient for accessing restaurants and food. The rooms and washrooms are really small however, especially for the 3-person room."

"We loved our 2 day stay. The showered was great. The restaurant staff, room staff and check in were great. We loved the hospitality of the cooks and servers in all 3 restaurants. The ceiling in the room leaked from A/C. The only incident that put a damper was one of the front staff rudely told my young daughter who was taking a call in the lobby and had her foot touch the chair in front (not fully placed) to sit well as it is the lobby. I wonder if they share the same concerns with the men...

"The staff very helpful through out the stay. We are new to Chennai, they helped in arranging the food, on transportation, courteous.. food is amazing. Preferred choice for next stay."

"They should mention that the pool and other facilities are often booked for community events. In fact the pool holds swimming lessons six days a week twice a day, each a three hour slot. If I knew this I would have booked elsewhere since one of my main goals during the trip was to swim as often as possible. I think it's great that swimming lessons are given there but guests should be warned in advance. Otherwise it's a very centrally located and very comfortable property."

"Good stay. The breakfast buffet is absolutely great with tons of options, South Indian, North Indian, continental, etc. and the spa is great for a relaxing massage. While the rooms are definitely on the smaller side, they are super clean and modern. My only critique is that they lack some basic 5-star amenities like a hot tub or a sauna in the wellness area. Overall though, it's a solid, clean, and decent place to stay in central Chennai!"

"Generally dreadful. Room small and not in good condition. View was of wall approx 30cm away so no natural light (fun if you have jetlag). I couldn't get the kettle to work. Uninspiring breakfast in very loud room. Area outside the hotel is not the cleanest. "
