"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, even though nearby wildfires forced us to cut our trip short. In the rush of leaving early due to the smoke, I accidentally left a piece of luggage behind. The owners went above and beyond by shipping it back to us completely free of charge! They are incredibly kind people who truly care for their guests. We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back!"

"I would stay at Golden Sands again because of its location being at the far end of Lakeshore Dr. (by the SS Sicamous). Quiet suite (#211) located at the back of the complex away from the Drive. Ice cream store next door (44 flavours). Just cross the street with a paddleboard and you're into the lake in minutes. It took me 3 nights to get used to the A/C in the bedroom (it was louder than others). Note to self to bring earplugs and extra pillows! We didn't use the kitchen, but it's stocked well with basic necessities. Overall, a good place to check in!"

"This hotel was perfect for our family stay in Penticton. It was close to the main bench and all the attractions. Pool was nice and clean. Wasn’t the biggest but both times we had it all to ourselves. Rooms were nice and big. Bathroom was nice to have a shower and upgraded plumbing fixtures."
