"This is a great location if you are wanting to go to the beach. It was about a 7 minute walk for us. Lots of restaurants close by. There is also a shopping area about a 5 minute walk away also. I would stay here if I were in Penticton again. The lodging is a bit older, but has been well kept and was clean."

"I would stay at Golden Sands again because of its location being at the far end of Lakeshore Dr. (by the SS Sicamous). Quiet suite (#211) located at the back of the complex away from the Drive. Ice cream store next door (44 flavours). Just cross the street with a paddleboard and you're into the lake in minutes. It took me 3 nights to get used to the A/C in the bedroom (it was louder than others). Note to self to bring earplugs and extra pillows! We didn't use the kitchen, but it's stocked well with basic necessities. Overall, a good place to check in!"

"This hotel was perfect for our family stay in Penticton. It was close to the main bench and all the attractions. Pool was nice and clean. Wasn’t the biggest but both times we had it all to ourselves. Rooms were nice and big. Bathroom was nice to have a shower and upgraded plumbing fixtures."
