"Hotel was as I would have expected. Not bad for the price. My room was solid and had a great beach view, room service and maintenance was very goo. Staff did a great job with housekeeping, Resturant food was pretty good, buffet could be better. I actually ate out multiple times around atlantis and shops so didnt eat the food the whole stay but its average. The pool area was very windy, unsure if I got unlucky all week or if there is some wind tunnel but drinks and towels would fly away. The beach is nice but big waves made it unswimmable, I would recommend rose island for beach activities. Also you will be annoyed by beach vendors, I would say no but some were persistent and wouldnt take no as an answer. The walk to Atlantis and shops is about 10-15 mins walk, hotel is isolated on paradise island but taxis are available. My stay was good, hotel met my expectations. "

"The room was lovely. Exactly what we needed for our stay. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. Beautiful hotel. Beach and pool amenities are wonderful and relaxing. The downtown location makes it really easy to explore. Overall, this hotel was the highlight of our trip. You are starting at the cruise ships from the beach instead of just nature. But that's ok. Much much better than paradise island. "

"Check in on arrival was disastrous, rude staff and not interested in doing their job. Room was supposedly a “Superior” room, 5-star quality, but was simply not even close. No door on bathroom. No door on closet (a curtain instead) and as basic as they come. Pool area we visited was very clean and service was good. Meals at top restaurants were excellent. Breakfast buffet was good. Hotel and amenities are very expensive. This is not the place for budget conscious travel. Julie (Director) saved what was destined for a horrible experience. Thanks to her and our room cleaning lady. She was awesome. "
