Ok, but no more than that.

Hotel was nice enough and there are some beautiful walks close by. The restaurant has good food but the service is slow and the environment feels tired and dated.

THIS IS A 3 STAR NOT 4 STAR HOTEL. We stayed during their off season and many of the hotel amenities were not available for use including the jacuzzi, pool bar, gym, and sauna which we were not made aware of prior to booking. The room was not clean when we arrived with stains on the bed and hair/garbage in the bathroom from the previous person. The door had gaps around it so noise came through meaning the vaccuming around 11pm at night kept us from getting the sleep we needed for an early morning tour. The pool was available but no bartender, and we found it wasn't cleaned daily as a massive wad of hair and brown liquid at the top was around for a few days. We also found smashed glass along the walking areas of the pool. Finally, it's hard to get a taxi to and from this place. The people were nice but I would not stay again.

Si vas a realizar turismo en la ciudad no te recomiendo hospedarte aca ya que queda bastante lejos de la plaza de armas que es realmente donde esta la vida de la ciudad. El hotel es muy básico, la cama no tan comoda (colchon se notaba viejisimo), baño sencillo, instalaciones sencillas. No hay conformidad en calidad/precio sinceramente.

EL hotel es bonito y esta en lugar alejado de la ciudad, cerca de los campos de sabandia. Lo que recomendaria para mejorar es que su personal este mejor informado, se demoraban mucho al darme respuestas como la hora del desayuno o de que se trataba la cena de año nuevo ya que tenian que estar consultando. El desayuno deberia ser mas variado, al menos poner frutos tipicos de arrequipa como la papaya arequipeña, y no los clasicos jamos y queso.

Did not like that they charged for any ice needed, any hot water. Did not have free coffee at the lobby. Did not want to honor 20% discount for food and beverage per our reservation details.

El hotel es muy bonito solo que es lamentable que pongan a un recepcionista por la mañana tan mal educado y sin lógica tuvimos la reserva por aquí y nos quiso cobrar 26 dólares por noche más ya que dice que la tarifa que pagamos es muy baja y que ellos no manejan esas tarifas así nos tuvo con la amenaza los 3 días hasta q tuvimos que llamar a la administradora que nos dio la razón pero por gente como el señor de recepción dejan mucho que desear una cadena tan buena como es el Estelar

Nice hotel on the outskirts of the city

This hotel was nice, but make sure you want to stay where it is located as it is on the outskirts of Arequipq proper. It feels like you are in a rural location with farm views outside your window. The place seemed to be under renovation in some parts, so there was some construction noise we had to deal with. The breakfast was really good and the rooms were nice and clean. We booked this hotel in large part because the picture on hotels.com website showed a sitting area for the “superior room, one king bed” and we wanted the extra space during our stay. I took a screen shot of the picture on my phone. It was a good thing because when we checked in, the front desk put us in a “standard” room that did not have this extra sitting area. Even after showing the picture to the front desk, we were told that the picture was of their “junior suite” and there was nothing they could do about it. I sent a note about this to hotels.com, and the next day hotel staff approached us, apologized and moved us to the advertised room. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi, but when we asked about the operating hours for the jacuzzi (as we were hoping to use it to relax in the evening after dinner) we were told that the jacuzzi required a reservation, and that there are only three reservation times offered each day - 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. This was useless for us as those times were when we were out sight-seeing. So while it was a nice property, some key amenities were unusable during our stay.

Our kids liked the lagoon on the property with ducks and pedal boats. The service at the front desk, particularly Patrice, was excellent. We did not like the fact that our room, although clean, had flies.

Safe comfortable with amenities

Friendly and spacious. Best bed for a while too. The shuttle to the airport an hour away is a bonus. Great place to reenergise.
