"Very nice B&B, in good location. Just a couple of points to mention which was why I have only 4/5. - Room and en-suite smaller than expected, but still nice and comfortable - Breakfast was lovely, but would prefer being able to self serve juice and tea/coffee. "We stayed here on the night of my daughter's wedding in June (we booked 2 rooms) my daughter and groom booked a room and another couple of wedding guests booked a fourth room separately. Overall lovely hotel and rooms, great breakfast and staff and sufficient parking. I have no hesitation leaving 5 stars. However, despite our request to be seated at separate tables at breakfast time; we were seated as a table of eight (I think the newly weds would have preferred to dine alone) and were left unserved for some time (as apparently they were waiting for the "other 2 members of the party" to arrive). I think breakfast staff should check that all members of a perceived group are happy to be seated together."

"Large hotel stuated across from the pier,parking at the rear for about 40 cars or so at £6 a day. Excellent buffet breakfast at £10 which is very popular with the guests. Staff are very helpful and courteous. The hotel is an old hotel and quite obviously needs some renovations and maintenance but I would stay here again, its in a really good location and comparing it to other hotels its very popular and very reasonably priced."

"It was a quaint building, the rooms were of a good size, very clean, with a tv & everything you could want, plenty of tea & coffee etc, with extras if needed, our bathroom was across a very small corridor, but it was just ours & they supply robes for you to use. Nicky & Philip were great hosts & accommodated us arriving a bit earlier, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic, a big table laden with fruit, homemade muesli, yogurt, local, honey & pastries & then a choice of what you want from a full English, it was all delicious. It was perfect for our one night stay"

The hot tub was amazing. The lodge itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Booking and checking in was very easy and hassle free. Parking was simple and plenty of space for cars. Myself and my family would absolutely stay again and recommend it to others."
