"I had the best weekend at the Ross Mansion Bed and Breakfast. The host, Gerry & Jenny were fabulous and recommended places for me to visit and eat. I went to the Lucky Rabbit, the Hen House, the zoo, and of course the Pocket Museum. The home is decorated gorgeously and the yard is something out of a fairy tale. Breakfast was great and I even found a new bread to have toast with...lol. I 10/10 recommend this place to fellow travelers!"

"This hotel was a little dated but clean, comfortable, and safe. Breakfast was very lacking - don’t plan on filling up there. But otherwise would definitely recommend!"

"One problem we encountered was that the room had not been cleaned. The staff came in, made the bed and collected the towels, but did not vaccum or replace towels until we asked later in the day. Also, the TV had a very dark picture. The staff told me they were in the process of replacing the TVs, apologized and provided two drink vouchers."

"The room was very nice, and I really like the Avid hotels….but they put queen size sheets on a king size bed so the second we laid down they popped off the edge. The trainee at the front was very friendly but the person training her was not. The breakfast was very good and it is a very clean nice hotel so a few things that are negative very fixable. "

"I booked a handicapped room since I recently had knee replacement surgery and wanted to make sure I had a shower with grab bars. I had just driven 10 hours and as tired. When I got to my room there were no drapes on the window which faced an apartment complex. I went back downstairs and they said the drapes were being fixed and was scheduled to be installed the next day . I said “so there are no window covering in the room?” They affirmed and said the could change my room. So they gave me a room...

"Dirty rooms rude staff"

"The room stunk of cigarettes, no good lighting outside. Guy at entrance with a gun in his waitline."

"The room was clearly not cleaned properly. Beds were made but the linens had dried blood and makeup on them. Staff was very professional and apologetic and quickly moved us rooms. Unfortunate stay but the staff was very polite. "
