Beautiful Country Inn

This is a nice little B&B, they have a taxi service from the Airport which was WONDERFUL! Toni the driver is very warm and funny. I chatted for a bit with the Owner, Paul, who was very nice and funny and gave us great recommendations for dinner, the Cinnamon House is a MUST. My favorite meal of my whole trip. We only stayed one night. Since we didn't have a car we had to cab it back and forth to the town a few times which did get expense for us. Not a far trip into town, but too far to walk on the narrow roads.

Dated. Can't recommend

nice grounds but overall feeling is dated and need of some tlc. TV , toilet, and temp were in need of repair. Would be good for horse lovers.

Do not waste the money

The door was locked. Rang the bell a man opened the door, gave us a key and said if you need something ring the bell and disappeared. The place was cold. The carpet on the stairs was stained and ripped. The room was cold. The carpet in the room was stained and the comforter on the single bed had a hole in it. The water kettle had stale water in it and the power went out. It was a horrible waste of 90 euro.

Very worn carpet, dated room. Hard bed, the room was very stuffy and hot overnight, we opened the window even tho there wasn't any screens. The water pressure was slow and low for the toilets. We had to wait 15-20 min between flushes.

Extremely beautiful, best B & B in Ireland.

Owners were etxremely helpful. Beautiful surroundings. A very large room and close to the village. LOVED IT!

Nice B&B in the outskirts of town.

Very nice country setting. Beautiful on outside and inside. Large rooms. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.

It was a nice place, but we really did not feel the bed and breakfast feel. When we arrived we gave them our names and they gave us our keys. But then that was the last time we saw anyone, until breakfast. Even then it was just to put our plates down and then they were gone. It felt very impersonal, and we picked a bed and breakfast because we wanted to get a more homey feeling.

Out in the far beyond

Difficult to find and not worth the effort. Was given incorrect directions on the phone and only managed to find it when I retraced my steps. Hostess seemed very harried and curt. Breakfast was barely edible. Dining room draperies were old and dirty. Bathroom was ancient..water pipes groaned..someone in the next room feeling ill all night was quite audible.

Staff was very pleasant and Sandra guided us to some lovely tourist spots. Hotel's condition is a bit ragged, but grounds are a plus.

Very roomy and clean. Beautiful setting.

The room was huge and the bath very nice. The plumbing had a few issues but the scenery was gorgeous and serene.

Blissed Out Country Retreat

The Broadmeadow provides a perfectly lovely location in which to restore oneself surounded by the bucolic beauty of the aptly entitled Royal County. A particular treat for horse lovers, as the propriatry also operate a stables & riding school, a marvellous view of which I enjoyed from my broad bedroom window. This really does qualify as a sanctuary of pastural charm & tranquility, ten 'motorised' minutes from the heart of Ashbourne, with handsomely appointed rooms and grand resident lounge in which to recharge. Just don't attempt to reach the guesthouse on foot, as I did, or you are likely to be maimed before you even make it through the front door. On the debit column, the 'full' Irish could be a trifle more generous. Let's just say you won't find yourself getting fat at this fine country homestead. Oh and the staff in the salon are on hand to beautify you for a nominal fee. Nicely does it Broadmeadow.

Superb house in quiet and beautiful location close to Dublin City Centre, Dublin Airport and local town with excellent facilities, shops, pubs and restaurants. Loved the thoughtful 'extras' like the honesty bar in the lounge and the variety of the breakfast menu. Based next to an equestrian centre we had a fab walk around the stables and met some really friendly and welcoming people.

This Guest House in beautiful garden and quite Central for exploring the area. Fairyhouse Racecourse is only a short drive away. Very Satisified!

Lovely guesthouse

I stayed here for several days while working in Dublin. The guesthouse is only a 10 minute drive from the M50, making it convenient for many parts of Dublin. The village of Ashbourne is also close by, for dinner and shopping. The guesthouse itself has ample parking, and comfortable rooms. Tea/Coffee facilities are in each room, and an ironing board is available for use. The owners are friendly and helpful- on arrival, I was greeted and given dinner recommendations for the local town, which is extremely helpful.

Quiet location, great friendly service

Room was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. Ashbourne town is only a five minute drive away, giving access to restaurants and shops, while leaving a quiet location for the guesthouse.There's a comfortable lounge downstairs for relaxing at night, and free wifi available.

hotels .com did not have the correct full address which made it hard to find the hotel originally but after that it was super easy.
