"Onsen and footbath in the room/balcony in a private setting plus projector and the location are all worth the price. Flexibility in checkout time by even an hour was not entertained and in general no changes post reservation. Some snacks and drinks were complimentary and a nice tpuch. If you plan to cook, bring all ingredients for cooking including oil, salt, pepper."

"I loved this hotel. It was so relaxing. The food was traditional Japanese and some was really good and other stuff was not my favorite. I opted for the outdoor bathroom and private osen and strongly recommend that! Especially if you have tattoos as they are not allowed in the public osen. The Hakone area wasn’t my favorite but that’s not the hotels fault."
