"I will not be returning to this property.
I specifically booked and paid for a suite with two queen beds and a sofa because our group consisted of six people and we needed the additional sleeping space. When we arrived, we discovered the room did not have a sofa at all—only two beds. Had I known this was the actual room configuration, I would never have booked or paid for that room.
To make matters worse, the room assigned to us was a handicap-accessible room, which was not what we expected based on the reservation. Because the room did not accommodate the number of guests it was advertised to accommodate, my mother-in-law was forced to spend additional money on a separate king room so everyone would have a place to sleep.
The hotel should have taken responsibility for this error and compensated us for the additional room expense. Instead, the burden and extra cost fell on our family. The entire situation was stressful, inconvenient, and completely avoidable.
Accurate room descriptions are essential when guests are making reservations, especially when traveling with family. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we checked in, and because of how this situation was handled, I will not be staying at this property again."
