Stayed in the Hadrian Suite which is a beautifully designed space, very impressive. Very warm welcome and friendly service throughout. Comfortable bar area downstairs with great dining options. Definitely recommend if you're visiting this stunning part of England – they will help with guidance for walks and dark skies star spotting etc.

The service here is brilliant. A family run establishment where there are toys for children and an outdoor play area. The working farm environment and beautiful scenary add atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable amd the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely return.

Stayed during owners transition, that's why the kitchen served only breakfast and it was amazing! The same helpful staff. Short business stay, I visit a lot of hotels and I do appreciate smaller ones. Room had a nice design, comfortable bed and modern bathroom, all very clean and well kept.

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming they were superb.
We were sorry the restaurant and bar were shut and there was no hot option for breakfast. (We stayed Sunday to Monday)

My wife and I stayed here for one night 20-8-26, the place is really easy to find, located in a village out in the countryside a few miles from Carlisle. Everything about the place is great, the food, the beer, the location and car parking. Best of all are the staff, really friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again on our way home from Scotland in a week and am looking forward to it. The coked breakfast is huge and really good, as is the porridge. Stayed for one night with my boyfriend, to get a break from it all and this was definitely the right place. Nothing was too much trouble, facilities great, bar food gorgeous, lovely atmosphere and tidy rooms. We actually had a bit of a hiccup from expedia as they sold a family room with 2 double beds that the hotel didnt have.
The receptionist Fluer (apologies if name spelt incorrect), was very helpful, polite and she made the stay that extra bit special for us and we recieved a...

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Askerton, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Askerton?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Kielder Observatory, or get out into nature at a spot like Talkin Tarn Country Park. In the wider area, you’ll find Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Water and Forest Park.
What’s a holiday rental in Askerton like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Askerton. Holiday rentals offer extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll have all the comforts of home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, holiday rentals can offer a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive choice for a small group gathering.
