We are a family of 6, came for 2 days post cruise. Perfect location, everything is walkable. Chris the owner was very responsive to my questions. They have a coffee shop across the street we could check our bags at for 4euro each. Super convient to check the bags. The apartment was spacious and clean. Nice patio to people watch. There was also a washing machine in the apartment so very helpful. I would stay here again. Great place and reasonably priced.

I was going between a 3 and a 4 but felter a 4 is fairer as it ticks the right boxes for a city break. Location wise the property is pretty well suited. It is just 7 minutes easy walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. There are plenty of great restaurants on the way there too. The Acropolis metro station is around 5 minutes walk and there is also a bus stop right outside. Other sites are also not too far and public transport is cheap and reliable. There is a nice artisan supermarket diagonally across the road, we shopped here most nights (they are open till 11pm). Plenty of other options nearby. There is also a nice bakery directly across the road. The property itself is on the first floor. There is a small lift if you're unable to climb the stairs. Handy the first and last days for cases. The property seems very secure with a good sturdy door and lock. The beds were extremely large and comfortable (one of the best sleeps I've had anywhere) and the air conditioning seems decent. The blackout shutters are also awesome, again best we've had anywhere, room is pitch black if closed fully. Nice big fridge freezer and plenty of kitchen utensils. Shower not too powerful but warm enough. We did have some issues with chairs coming apart and handles being loose on several doors. The road is also busy with some noise but doubt you'll find anywhere quiet in Athens, we all slept fine. Communication from the owner we excellent, very quick to respond.

Lots of great restaurants in the area. Very close to the markets on the east side of the Acropolis. Beds were very comfortable and it's helpful having a working kitchen/dining area. We were only there one night - but would have been very happy there for longer.

Great vacation apartment

Perfect sized, comfy apartment in the heart of Athens, yet not in a touristy area. The fabulous location is close to the Acropolis and museums - just a few minutes walk. The area is filled with great restaurants, bakeries. Transport links are good. Zeta and Chris are perfect hosts: helpful and friendly. Absolutely would stay here again.

We were looking for accommodation within walking distance to the major attractions and this fit the bill perfectly for our family of four. Included 2 king beds (not smaller queen or double). Large, clean bathroom with a washing machine that had a built-in dryer. (Luckily, they left the printed instructions in English to help figure it out.) Full kitchen with everything you'll need. Air conditioning worked very well. The balcony was wonderful for enjoying the evening with a glass of wine and people watching. The hosts were very helpful and were able to assist with transportation from the port and to the airport along with storage of luggage for a very reasonable fee. Highly recommend.

Diese Unterkunft liegt sehr zentrumsnah. Akropolismuseum, Akropolis und die Plaka können zu Fuß erreicht werden. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber. In den Doppelbetten lässt es sich bei einer Breite von 1,80 m bequem schlafen. Die Ausstattung enthält alles, was man für Übernachtung und für die Zubereitung von Frühstück/Abendbrot benötigt. Man sollte mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem Taxi anreisen, da die Parkplätze entlang der Straße knapp sind, sogar doppelreihig geparkt wird.

Excellent in every aspect!

My experience with Modern Design was excellent. Our baggage took a while to come so we may have been 2 hrs late getting to our apartment and there was Chris waiting for us regardless of our delay. He was very kind and easy to deal with. The apartment was perfect for us. Large and spacious. Clean and modern! Location-wise... couldn't have been better. Walking distance to everything we wanted. The underground subway was around the corner so we were able to get the "The Mall" (which is an awesome mall) in 10 minutes. Super easy. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
