I’m honestly surprised this hotel has a 4.1-star rating on Google. My experience was very disappointing from start to finish.
After driving 7 hours from Florida with two kids for a weekend tournament, I was charged an additional $30 for early check-in, which was frustrating to begin with. When I arrived, I spoke to a front desk agent, only to be directed to a separate kiosk to complete check-in with someone on a screen. That process felt unnecessary and confusing, especially since there was already staff available in person.
Once I got to the room, the condition was unacceptable. There were multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues: patched walls that weren’t properly finished, a dirty refrigerator, and hair from previous guests all over the floor. The iron still had water in it, and the luggage rack was broken and unusable.
The bathroom was just as bad. The toilet paper holder was broken, the sliding glass shower door was coming apart, and there was visible dirt, dust, and hair on the floors and walls—including behind the bathroom door.
The next day, my key card stopped working at a side entrance, forcing me and my kids to walk all the way back to the front desk. The issue was fixed, but no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience was offered.
Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and indifferent customer service made this a very disappointing stay. Based on my experience, I don’t believe this hotel deserves its current rating.
