My recent stay at this SpringHill Suites was the worst hotel experience I have had in quite some time. Cleanliness was a major issue from the moment I arrived. I noticed a large spill of hot chocolate and another sticky substance on the elevator floor early in the morning, and it remained untouched from breakfast that day through breakfast the next morning. Despite being away from the hotel for the majority of the day, the mess was still there more than 24 hours later.
Housekeeping was also a serious concern. I clearly requested that my room be cleaned on the second day of my stay, including fresh towels. When I returned that evening, the room had not been serviced and no towels had been provided. The night staff did allow me to switch rooms, which I appreciated, but the problems continued.
The first room I moved into had a completely blocked sink that would not drain. I was then moved to a second room on the next floor, but the sink in that room had the same issue. No one on the team was able to fix it, so I ended up washing my hands in the shower for the remainder of my stay.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lack of cleanliness, the failure to perform even basic housekeeping requests, and the unresolved maintenance issues across multiple rooms made this stay extremely disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes immediate improvements for future guests.
