"Beautiful historic property. Located across the street from the lake in Lucerne. Very walkable to downtown Lucerne. The best part was the wonderful staff. They worked hard to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend this if you like older historic properties with a lot of character. We loved our room with the balcony."
"A great hotel for the money. Very helpful staff who are there for you. For food, breakfast buffet is very tasty with lots of options. The restaurant makes fantastic meals for dinner (make a reservation an hour or two before; Shout out to Julien who took very good care of us) There’s also the outside bar and food across the street with top quality smash burgers, pizza, Mediterranean food, and fantastic drinks. "This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony.
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes.
We look forward to another stay in the coming years.

"We were originally booked in Lucerne, but after a less-than-ideal hotel experience, we made a last-minute switch to Villa Honegg—and it did not disappoint. Perched high on a hill, the staff greeted us with warmth and impeccable service from the moment we arrived. The views were breathtaking, and even our mountainside room felt serene and luxurious.
Amenities: 5 stars.
Food: 5 stars (dinner and breakfast were both exceptional).
Staff: 5 stars.

"Bellevue Hotel is great! It’s almost the oldest hotel in Engelberg, but the hotel is very unique, stylish and clean. Very European style. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The most amazing part is the view from the balcony, love it!"

"The hotel was clean and comfortable, although quite hot due to the weather and no AC. Despite being near a main road it was quiet, although deliveries to a nearby business was quite loud on a couple of mornings. The single room I had was a good size but the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was amazing with a great continental selection. The staff at the hotel were extremely informative when I checked in and very friendly throughout my stay.
