"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"Im more upset with Expedia for this experience. This hotel was listed as Carcasonne and we should have done a little more homework but we were strapped for time. This hotel is located nowhere near where we wanted to be (the heart of Carcasonne). It was a $40cdn uber and when we decided to eat the cost of the hotel and go somewhere closer the ubers were not coming out that far. The hotel itself is fine but has a very cold almost robotic feel. This place would be fine for a single or perhaps a...
