"Of our 5 different accommodations during our travels around France, La Bastide de Montferrat was our absolute favourite! Driving into the setting was immediately peaceful, our room was comfortable, and the service was absolutely stellar! We loved that it seemed to be a family business, and especially loved the sweet puppy!
We don't normally eat in the hotel restaurants when we travel, but after a delicious meal our 1st night, we came back again the 2nd night and the food was some of the best we had in France (special recognition to our waitress M who was sooo wonderful and kind!!!)
We really felt the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome, and we would love to come back again someday and will be recommending it to friends visiting the area!
Merci beaucoup beaucoup!"

"Clean and confortable room. The property has a green area and a nice pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but it could have more fruit options. There is pizza and drinks available during the evening, which was really convenient. There are also restaurants at walking distance. I definitely recommend the stay!"

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."
"Ideal stop off en route south. Clean, functional and all the facilities of the posh I is next door - pool, outside terrace, restaurant. Breakfast in the Budget Ibis was excellent "

"Great view of the lake, good food and good service. Room conditions need improvement as two electrical outlets didn’t work in our room. Only outlet working was the one for the TV, They brought us an extension cord and unplugged the TV to solve the problem. Room condition and facilities are very basic but I guess that’s what we paid for. "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Staff are all excellent. Very very helpful and friendly. Great location. Stunning views. Fabulous facilities - pool, games room, books, information, grounds. Breakfast is simple but excellent. Everything you would need.
Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. Great small family run hotel. "
