"Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. "Les notes sont élevés car le rapport qualité / prix est excellent. Le prix de la chambre est compétitif par rapport aux autres hôtels. Le sauna est opérationnel. La chambre est propre et spacieuse. Un chauffage d'appoint de type électrique est dans la chambre, ceci est appréciable car les plafonds sont hauts et il ferait froid sans ces radiateurs. Le château au milieu des bois est idéal pour le calme . . . ;Le petit déjeuner gratuit est un plus non négligeable car ailleurs ce dernier est proposé...

"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."
