Avila Beach area was beautiful. The shops, wine tasting rooms and restaurants were really good. I would visit the area again but stay at a different hotel.

unless you get there early, there will be very little parking on the streets except one lot for $8.00 per day. The hotel had parking for its guests, but it was very tight.
