Das nan E Bike's ausleihen konnte war super, foch die Fahrradroute R12 und Gartentour führt nur über öffentliche Straßen direkt nach Hartberg das war blöd. Bessere Radwege am Land wären erwünschenswert (das ist aber denke ich nicht die schuld des Hotels). War sehr sehr zufrieden mit allem. Danke war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt.

Norovirusinfektion

Leider habe ich mir eine schwere Norovirusinfektion im Steirerhof zugezogen. Dass ein norovirus grassiert habe ich zu Hause zufällig erfahren . Man hätte die Gäste informieren müssen. Ich habe zu A Hause mehrere Personen angesteckt

An den Erholungsstätten darf geraucht werden und die Gäste müssen den Rauch ertragen. Für ein Spa mit so tollen Einrichtungen ist das ein schwerwiegender Mißstand. Abgesehen davon ist alles nahezu perfekt, fleißiges, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, eine sagenhafte Küche und es bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Wir sind nach ein paar Jahren Steirerhof-Abstinenz wieder einmal für 4 Nächte gekommen und waren wieder vollauf begeistert. Zimmer sehr schön, gesamtes Hotel in Topzustand, Essen hervorragend - besser geht´s nicht. Aufgrund der Corona-Massnahmen teilweise nicht immer verfügbare freie Plätze in Sauna und Therme - die Gäste sollten ausserdem die Einschränkungen selbständig beachten - Kontrolle seitens Hotel erfolgte nicht.

Das beste Hotel der Welt. Es fehlt einem an nichts. Schöne Zimmer, sehr schöne Gegend zum Radfahren (mit kostenlosen EBikes), laufen und Spazierengehen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Super schöner Thermenbereich . Alles sehr durchdacht und auf den Gast abgestimmt. Man fühlt sich wirklich nicht wie in einem Hotel. Die vielen kleinen und großen Dekorationsgegenstände geben dem Haus eine sehr liebevolle und persönliche Note.

A perfect weekend getaway, or longer!

This spa resort is the ideal place for restoration and relaxation. Everything is included, rooms are air conditioned, there's saunas and pools for all preferences, free bikes and yoga and other activities, biking and hiking routes galore, excellent food and service, and the friendliest most helpful staff you'll ever find. I've been twice, once alone, once w/ my partner, and both times were simply perfect. Loads of biking, swimming, sauna, a few treatments in the spa, great meals, long walks, napping by the pool, yoga in the morning. Really fabulous.

Nur teilweise 5 Sterne

Freundlicher Empfang, schneller Check In. Zimmerschlüssel samt Schlüsselanhänger statt Schlüsselkarte, Schloss klemmt. Klassik-Zimmer ist klein, renoviert und sehr sauber. Auch die Betten sind klein, keine 5 Sterne wert. Dafür gibt es eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Es gibt im ganzen Hotel überdurchschnittlich viele Schilder mit Hinweisen und Regeln. Sehr eingeschränkten Zeiten für Schwimmbad und Saunen. Mit dem Essen waren wir sehr zufrieden, mit dem Service weniger. Auf der Terrasse ist praktisch nicht möglich, auch bei Ankündigung, einen Tisch für 4 Personen zu bekommen. Es wurden zwei runde Zweier-Tische zusammengestellt. Ein sehr seltsames Sitzgefühl und in einem 5-Sterne Haus eigentlich untragbar. Der Service war sehr unterschiedlich. An einem Abend flink und freundlich und Begrüßung durch den Hausherrn, am nächsten Abend lange Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen (bis zu einer Stunde) und mäßig freundliche Bedienung. Übrigends: Das angebotene 5-gängige Menü besteht in Wirklichkeit aus drei Gängen (Suppe, Hauptspeise, Nachspeise) den Rest geht man selber zum Buffet. Die Außenanlage wird von einem sehr gepflegten Garten umgeben. Dieser wurde in der Nach reichlich bewässert. Dadurch waren auch die Liegen sehr nass. Die Liegen muss man mit bereit liegenden Fetzen dann selber reinigen und auch die Auflagen selber hintragen. Auch kein 5-Sterne Service! Im internationalen Vergleich nicht durchgängig 5-Sterne-Niveau.
