I liked the mostly enclosed park area for my dog. The hot tub wasn’t hot which was disappointing even though it is September in Bakersfield. The pool was nice. The were some homeless people hanging out on the other side of the wall and they put their things in the park area and climbed over the wall to retrieve them it startled my dog. The lobby and the breakfast room were like saunas they were so hot, the AC in the room worked perfectly. There was an issue with the sink backing up and a bunch of gunk in the sink but I saw a plumber there and later there wasn’t a problem anymore. I did really the staff they were really friendly and helpful. I did appreciate the breakfast it left a lot to be desired, but hey it was free!

This place has 8.0 and the photos were intriguing! However, total opposite! Expedia needs real time photos!! We get there and it appeared clean until you really started paying attention, stains on the floor, unswept floor, stains on the sheets and bed! It was disgusting in my honest opinion! The staff were great and the breakfast was ok, grateful to have a bite to eat! However, with the establishment a whole being outdated cleanliness should be top tier!! And it wasn’t up to par! Just because things are old doesn’t mean you shouldn’t sweep or bleach the sheets and mop for a more pleasant smell!
