Everything at the courtyard by marriott wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the cleanliness was excellent, and the location is very convenient and close to everything. Excellent staff and decent room - a little bit on the small side but perfectly adequate. The only negative thing to say is that the fire alarm on the ceiling was constantly flashing every 20 seconds, incredibly brightly, which made it difficult to fall asleep once you noticed it in the dark.

Good: Excellent location. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Parking available. Bad: Water in room is warm at best, never hot enough for a shower. Breakfast is poor for the cost. No bell captain to help with luggage. They get busy so that they stop answering calls- room service / front desk etc. Really bad: They’re in full profit maximizing mode. You paid for 1 child fees on Expedia? That’s to allow him stay. The bed is extra. You checking in a few hours early? That’s extra. Also.. want to take a leftover croissant from breakfast up to your room? Not allowed. They run the buffet like an Eastern European prison. I once came down at 8.30am with my family, the lady asked: didn’t you all already have breakfast an hour earlier? Weird overall not warm.

Wonderful stay in Baku

We had a great stay in Baku. The location was great, close to pretty much everything in Baku. Hotel was super clean and loved the room, very bright, and modern. Hotel staff were really helpful. One thing that was a bit add was that we asked for an extra blanket, initially they refused to provide it but eventually they did. Never understood why as almost any hotel we have stayed there is always extra blanket in the room.

Nice clean room consistent with Courtyard standard

The hotel was nice, clean, and the employees friendly and efficient. The room was good, but basic. Online by including breakfast added 50% to the room, but half that amount if you paid locally rather than the online price. The food was good though. Rather than a paper menu for dinner, you have to scan the QR code to see. OK to do, but I don't like it personally.

A great hotel in a great location. Whenever I come to Baku I usually stay here. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Other strong points are the bar/ restaurant, fitness center, and the 24-hour room service. Definitely, so room service one morning and order the Azerbaijani breakfast with tea. The views are also good looking out onto either Winter Park or the picturesque and historic Kubinka neighborhood, which I hear might unfortunately be demolished. The only negative thing I have to say is that the showers are designed oddly with one side completely open. If you’re not careful you can accidentally flood the bathroom, so ask for extra towels on your first night in case you get water all over the floor. Overall, a great hotel.

Great stay

Great hotel. Enjoyed our stay. 25 min walk to main sites/shopping areas. Restaurant and bar were excellent, although bar staff were not keen on making cocktails. If you like to use a gym then the hotel as a very high quality facility.

Had an excellence stay at this hotel. 5 🌟 service from the moment I walked in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Yunis the asst. Manager was extremely helpful when I needed to extend my stay. I highly suggest to stay here. The location is extremely convenient as well as its a walkable distance from the main market square.

Love this hotel!

the front desk staff is very warm and helpful - i felt they were my friends. the rooms are clean and comfortable. the bathroom is spotless. the price is good value for money, in my opinion. the location is very convenient. just a short walk from old town/nizami street/the boulevard. i have stayed at this hotel twice, and when in baku, this would be my preference again.
