"This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard....

"This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

"The room was very spacious, separate to the house and despite other guests being on the farm, it was very quiet. The farm is a functional farm and the host was more than happy to show us around and tell us about its unique history. I don't usually comment on food, but the breakfast offered was amazing."

"Fabulous location with a beautiful ocean view, and it’s right next to the excellent d-day museum. No parking on site, but that’s not a big issue. There’s a public parking lot a two minute walk away, for a very reasonable price. The room was small and the most bothersome thing was the heavy cobwebs at the window - they could clean those windows once a month, perhaps."

"Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

"The property was like a French estate from yesteryear. Our room was huge (two bedrooms, actually) with a large, updated bathroom. The grounds were magnificent and immaculately maintained. Our hosts were fun and helpful and made our stay a pleasure. The included breakfast was well-done. If you want a quiet, but centrally located property, I can suggest this location. The only difficulty we had was a problem with the WiFi, but the other guests did not, so who knows?"

"Our quick visit to Hôtel de la Plage was wonderful. Despite a much later first night arrival, the staff kept in constant communication with us for check-in and had keys and information waiting. The restaurant was closed, but they put together a last-minute charcuterie board and some drinks for us. Clean rooms, great beds, central location, wonderful food and not enough can be said about the staff. Always welcoming, always smiling, just fantastic and charming. Easily would stay here again,...

"This was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the family room and paid for breakfast, which was delivered to the room by 8o’clock. It was comprised of breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. Great location to visit Omaha Beach, museums, and the American memorial."
