"Hot Tub Time machine!"

"We received a warm welcome ahead of our check-in time. Inside and outside were beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the spacious room as well as the hot tub and both saunas. Our room was turned over nicely each morning and any requests we had were answered positively. It was a short walking distance to the downtown strip which we enjoyed each day we were in Banff."

"The room was clean and comfortable. However, we unknowingly booked a room where the bed was up a spiral staircase from the main area that had the bathroom. A little difficult to get suitcases up the stairs and a little annoying to have to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking on site was an extra charge (~ $15 Canadian), but that didn't seem unreasonable and plenty of parking spaces. Nice to be close to downtown area to walk to get something to eat but be far enough away from all of the chaos and noise of the downtown area."

"Our WiFi was not working in our room, offered to move us if not fixed, but they fixed it! The manager and maintenance staff provided excellent service. Really appreciated that. While we were on the third floor, it was pretty quiet and room was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the hot tub and the free early breakfast was very nice as we could get an early start without worrying about the logistics of finding a place. A little walk from downtown, but didn’t mind being in a more quiet less traffic area, and didn’t mind the 20-25 min. walk to get to shopping & restaurants. Only negatives, the lighting in the room, including bathroom, is terrible! Please add better lighting/additional lamps/anything would help. Also, better closet space with more hangers would be great. Not really a closet to speak of, and a lot of hotels are going this route, but at least add a clothes rack, wardrobe, cabinet or something. Our room was pretty spacious and we enjoyed our stay, so I’d use this property again when in Banff."

Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa

"We booked a Superior room with 2 Queen beds. When we checked in, we were told that we had been upgraded. When we got to our upgraded room, the 2 beds were double beds however we did a have balcony. We went to reception and asked why we were given 2 double beds instead of what we booked and they admitted they had given our booked room to someone else. They did find us a room with 2 Queen beds and also upgraded us to a room that had a balcony. In the end we had a great stay."
