Great location in the center of Banff. Older hotel but comfortable and clean. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the hotel for you. Overall, we were pleased and would recommend.

Banff is wonderful. The room was just a place to rest, but it was clean and comfortable. The hotel has an odd layout, and getting to the room was atypical. Only thing missing was an open window. The hotel did provide fans in the room.

The beds were not great, pillows were old, smelt terrible, even the bed sheets were very old. And the first night there there was no parking, had to park 3 blocks away. The next day we were able to get into the hotel parking for an additional 18.00 per night, for the crazy amount of the rate the parking should be free. Really disappointed of the overall experience.

Can't ask for a more perfect location if you want to stay in the heart of Banff. Great value hotel, comes highly recommended. Will be my go to when visiting Banff again.

For the price we paid of over $500 for one night, the lodge is very average. No air conditioning which is terrible this day & age & for the prices they charge! Time to invest in ac & make it more desirable & comfortable. We’d never consider this place in the summer. And the continental breakfast was so unimpressive. Scrambled eggs would be nice rather than barely warm hard boiled eggs, no fruit but orange slices & lukewarm potatoes. Management seriously needs to step up as we were disappointed & wouldn’t consider staying there again!

The view from our window was majestic and we didn’t even upgrade our room! I also love strong water pressure in the shower. After spending an entire day hiking and canoeing, nothing beats a rejuvenating shower! More importantly, the staff from the front desk, to the breakfast nook down to house keeping were just wonderful!

The Brewster was in the heart of Banff. We walked along the river on the Art walk, walked to the waterfall below the Fairmont and all over downtown. The area was clean and well kept. If you have tome, have lunch at the Fairmont. It was lovely. The breakfasts at the Brewster were healthy but had very little interesting foods, just the basics. The rooms were large and comfortable the bathroom had a shower/tub combo. All was very clean! The staff wad helpful and very polite. I would recommend this hotel

Cute little hotel right in downtown Banff! Staff was super nice and helpful and got us checked in early. A little noisy at night but we kept the windows open so that’s expected in downtown. Very nice stay!
