The resort is in a great location very close to downtown. It has numerous amenities such as tennis, pickleball, racquetball, pool and hot tub etc., So if you have kids who aren’t worn out already by all the hiking and sightseeing, there is something for them to do! We rented a one bedroom condo. It was nice, but definitely needed a remodel. Furniture and floor was a bit worn. Also, the condo is small, but has a huge kitchen table. It took up a lot is space. I would recommend something much smaller. It was nice having a full size kitchen so we could cook in some nights. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

The unit we stayed in was hugely overpriced. Right on highway, exceedingly small, worn, did not feel clean, in part because of worn floor rugs furniture. Supremely uncomfortable couch. Bed was listed as queen but was actually a double that barely fit in the bedroom. Kitchen was minimally equipped. Grounds looked a bit shaggy. We were glad to have a free place to park our vehicle. Staff was responsive when we had an issue with lack of hot water. No place to put suitcases. Internet worked fine.

The facility is very out dated: the room I stayed has no heating, didn’t provide sufficient bedding stuff; the bathroom sink cracks; the sofa bed has dead ants like insects I couldn’t tell what they were. Called the office that the heater thermostat was broken, but nothing was done and have to call again to ask for more warm bedding stuff.

I recently stayed at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort and unfortunately had a rather disappointing experience. First and foremost, reaching the front desk was incredibly challenging. Despite numerous attempts to get assistance, it felt as though no one was available to help with our concerns. We also requested towels several times after our initial concerns, but they were never delivered. Additionally, our toilet stayed running throughout our stay. Despite informing the front desk multiple times and being assured that maintenance would address the issue, no one ever showed up. The most frustrating issue occurred when we lost power for an entire night, leaving us without heat. This was especially uncomfortable, as the temperature dropped significantly. To make matters worse, the heat broke down completely after that, forcing us to sleep in our parkas just to stay warm. While the location of the resort is ideal, the inconvenience we experienced far outweighed any benefits. Given the lack of support and the major issues with power, heating, and basic amenities, I would recommend looking for alternative accommodations. Unfortunately, Banff Rocky Mountain Resort did not meet our expectations and significantly impacted our trip.
