It was nice experience . There are one or two drawbacks: all the facilities, including staff, are catered towards Chinese guests, and there are no massage shops within walking distance.

This place is amazing very convenient and so comfortable, All the staff were very helpful from the front door staff opening car door for me every time I arrived and help with food information also the room were clean and every day it’s clean I’m really happy that I decided to stay here at Somerset Rama 9 everything was perfect for our family trip well stay again our next trip also having 7/11 on the first floor was so convenient and it’s open 24hr and the hot pot restaurant was also really good.

Staff at the Hotel is very friendly all working at the hotel both of us have no complaints. Only minor complaints one is Bathing towels need attention I once a while use that quality of towels to wash my car. Couple of things hallway needs air circulation also it’s very hot inside the elevator. Mathew was very good in arranging our trip. We appreciate that.

The room was great, service was also good. However, i discovered a peephole that allowed people from a seevice stairwell to be able to glance into my room to a certain extent. Good thing is, the moment i reported it to reception, they got someone to fix it before i return to the room. Happy that they were prompt about it, but I was still pretty alarmed about the peephole.

The bed is comfortable, the restroom is big, there is a kitchenette in our room and I particularly liked the Kohler and Grohe bathroom fixtures (it just makes a difference knowing that the hotel looks at these nice touches for an overall comfortable stay). I appreciate the washing machine in the unit. Although it’s loud and it takes a long time to wash. The location can’t be beat also. It’s near Big C and there is a mall that has a nice food court and Starbucks that is just 3-5 minute walking distance from the hotel (if you’re into those). For late night or early morning purchases of snacks or mineral water/drinks, there’s a 7-11 downstairs. We brought our small kids and the hotel is kid friendly. The staff in the reception even gave them stickers which, for me, is a delightful gesture. We did not get a booking with breakfast but no worries. There’s a breafast buffet in the lobby that just costs 400 Baht per person and kids eat for free. The food and coffee selection are just average though. If you’re up for a good breakfast or brunch, try exploring what BKK has to offer. If you’re pressed for time or can’t be bothered, then the breakfast in the lobby is ok. Overall I enjoyed our BKK trip and our hotel stay made it extra special knowing that we would always come home from a grueling touristy, traffic experience in a comfortable, clean, good smelling and near excellent hotel.:)

The experience of staying this service apartment is comforting, grand lobby with polite and helpful staffs, very closed to central rama 9 shopping mall and fair night market ,we stayed at 2 bedrooms apartment with friends in the highest level first 6 nights , no sound heard from jodd fair night market, the last night we changed to 1bedroom premier type with my hubby at the lower level, disturbing noise was clear from night market, the bathtub leaking , hot water is not unlimited, specifically choose bathtub room type for our last night, but can’t use it, lift wait long time when morning peak period, almost a half hour, swimming pool protected from the sun through the trip
