Great economic place. Noise from the highway was not a problem at all (as others mentioned in reviews). Staff was very friendly. I will check out the breakfast in a few minutes. I recommend it.

Nice place. The location was good to the centrum and the stadium. Didn’t notice the noise from the highway although we hade the windows to the highway. Good service.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet with lovely windows. The location was great in Banska Bistrica in walking distance to the town square and quick access to the highway. The breakfast was also very good with many options.

Nice room and courteous staff. There is a dedicated parking lot. However, above the property is a major Highway with constant traffic. With windows open the room is very noisy. Otherwise satisfied.

Pleasant pension

A short and pleasant 15 minute walk into the old town of Banska Bystrica. No air conditioning but a powerful fan in the room. Nice breakfast. Only slight negative was the towel was a bit inadequate and had to do for both hand and body.

Clean room and good friendly staff but the property is surrounded by motorways and loud traffic which you can hear all night and there was no mention of so many steps. Our room was at highest level and bathroom was on on a lower floor to the bedroom and the steps were really steep and bannisters wonky and not safe

Odporúčam 😊

Ubytovanie je veľmi jednoduché nájsť. Izba bola veľmi čistá, priestranná, veľká kúpeľna a personál nesmierne milý a nápomocný. Izby majú samostatný vchod s kartovým prístupom. Ubytovanie ma kvalitné okná na odhlučnenie od hlavnej cesty a dobre postele. Priestor s izbami ma malú spoločnú miestnosť, kde si môžete ohriať jedlo, zaliať čaj, kávu a automat na nápoje a drobnosti na zjedenie. Recepcia nemá obsluhu 24/7, ale nepociťovala som to ako nejaký problém. Hosť je na to upozornený. Cena veľmi príjemná. Ubytovanie je neďaleko parku a dobre pristupné obchody/potraviny na pešo.

Situado a 10 minutos caminando del centro. Amplia buhardilla en dos alturas, el baño situado en un piso y subiendo unas escaleras la habitacion, no recomendable para personas con problemas de movilidad. Hay ruido del trafico, entra mucha luz en cuanto amanece. Buen desayuno.

we were here to watch the U19 England in Banksta, place was exactly what we was looking for, close the mountains for walking and close to the main town for dining, staff pleasant and for 5 euros breakfast was well worth it.

Excellent staff but too noisy rooms

The main reason why I give up to 4 stars is the friendliness of the owner and the effort to meet every requirement. However, the huge disadvantages for me were the very noisy rooms combined with the creaking of the doors around where every single arrival or departure of another guest woke me up. Moreover, there is a small threshold on the door and light went through it into the room all the night from the corridor. Maybe it's negligible for someone, for me it was quite important for good sleep. The floor was very cold and I was cold all night because the outside temperature was 5C and the room was not yet heated. I would also enjoy the presence of cosmetic wipes in the room or a shampoo that is not foamed which unfortunately was not. Otherwise perfect location close to city center with free parking.

Great location for an overnight stay. Just off the motorway and easy to park. Staff very helpful and friendly. They directed us to the old town where we had a nice meal. Even provided a map. The room was nice and clean. Very quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Great value for money. Thank you.

Check-in easy with excellent English speaker who also explained how to get into town and where to find local cuisine. Basic accommodation and great value. I found bed a bit hard but Suited my husband who slept great!

Small hotel, very friendly staff and clean rooms. The location isn't ideal, as it's below the highway, not very charming as the old town of Banska Bystrica, but the double window isolate the noisy very well, we could sleep in perfect silence and the free parking was very handy. Overall it's was a very good value for money and it was just for one night.

Velmi prijemne a zdvorile pani na recepci. Co se tyka pokoje, v pohode, neni to moc udrzovane, je videt ze to uz ma neco za sebou, postele strasne vrzaji. Nejhorsi je strasny hluk, mali sme pokoj, kde z jedne strany bola cesta, a z druhej tiez, takze ktere okno by si neotvoril, vsade bol hluk od aut.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It was far better than I’d anticipated! A great room with a nice view. Despite its proximity to a busy road, the room was quiet. The owners have done a great job and their attention to detail is first class.
