"The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, Wonderful location and views are breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast buffet is good but not awesome . Same with the dinner. Room service was a bit slow and the soup arrived ice cold. Other than those two negatives, I’d definitely stay here again."

"One thing that was disappointing was that there was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee or coffee pods. After a long flight from Mumbai, India with a missed/rebooked flight at Frankfurt arriving in Lisbon at nine pm, all I wanted was a coffee and bed. I called the receptionist and was told that I would have to purchase the coffee at that hour. The room fridge had no water, or coffee pods or even a pack of juice! Disappointing indeed!"

However, The new wing of the hotel where most guests stay , is now 25 years old. It is in need of refurbishment. Still, the rooms are large, clean, with lovely traditional furnishings. "Jam Lisbon was awesome for our family of 5! Room: spacious with bunk beds and a nice window to light the room. This is an industrial/environmental style hotel so don’t expect great lighting in the bathroom. Outlets well placed. Staff: very helpful check in with advice about the city and a marked up map included. The cleaning staff was absolutely incredible, kind, and thorough. "The hotel is hugely overpriced for what it is. The pool area and restaurant/bar are nice but the rooms are tired with old, rough towels and very minimal AC. Nothing really in the way of luxury amenities which is a shame for the price. I would wait up to 10 mins to be able to get in a lift from the 6th floor to the lobby, with barely any AC in the corridor. "The whole place is very nice. Breakfast was amazing and everything was easy to get to the people were so nice. Everybody was really nice. We did tours with them and they arrange everything for us. We love Paola the lady who helped clean the rooms. She was such a good person oh my God amazing. She deserve a lot of credit for our day. We loved it. She was on top of everything. The whole stuff was really nice from the hotel."
