We were drawn to this location due to many positive reviews, many mention being clean, and also not having pets allowed. Having a clean place is important to us, and the pets things helps as some of us have allergies. So we were drawn to that.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness was our main source of disappointment. In our first room, there were bits of food along the bed, dirt and hair by the fridge, suggesting the room hadn't even been vacuumed. Then remnants of "stuff" in the toilet showed that it must not have been cleaned either, and led us to ask for another room.
The second room appeared in better shape overall. But as we got our kids in bed, pulled back the sheets, found dirt and hair down by the feet suggesting that bedding hadn't been all washed. Super frustrated at this point, but all were exhausted. We asked for a new set of sheets to change it ourselves and just dealt with it. The other bed was ok.
Along the same lines for the place as a whole, we often took the stairs and there was junk on nearly every step that wasn't ever cleaned over our two nights. All windows had dirt along them so hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned either.
Their best attribute was that the staff I dealt with was very kind...front desk both shifts, and the guy brining towels and replacement sheets, were also kind. So well done on the people front, we appreciated that.
But please someone train the cleaning crew!
Also the good deal on Noah's Ark tickets was a plus.
