"This isn’t an old hotel but it presents that way. We travel a lot and this is the first time we’ve ever encountered it being impossible to plug anything in at the bedside. The hotel uses some strange proprietary outlet for the lamps! This is a health issue as my partner needed to plug in his CPAP. The hotel did lend us an extension cord but that creates a trip hazard on the way to the bathroom. This is really just patently stupid. There are also insufficient outlets in the room and no usb...

"Everything was great especially the staff at the check-in counter and restaurant. The only thing lacking is Kleenex in the room, however this seems to be the standard in all hotels we’ve stayed at in England."

"First they didn't have the two single bed room I reserved months ago. Once we got to the room with a double bed and an uncomfortable sofa bed my daughter had to sleep on there was absolutely no air conditioning no matter what I did to the thermostat. I tried to call the front desk with no answer. There is shampoo and body soap but no conditioner and very rough towels, with no wash cloth. The only good thing was the bus stop across the street to get to the airport."

"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have essentials to purchase for cheap at the front desk (toothbrush kit, etc.). They have a full bar. It's within walking distance of several good pubs and restaurants. Takes about 6 minutes to get to Terminal 5 of Heathrow airport on the bus which stops right outside the hotel. The staff was very helpful."

They helped me book a private transfer to my terminal as I was too late for the bus. It was only £2 more. Would definitely stay again"
